Therapeutische Breite

In Wirkstoffbeschreibungen von Amifampridin / 3,4-Diaminopyridin wird von von geringer oder kleiner therapeutischer Breite gesprochen. Es bedeutet, dass eine geringe Dosiserhöhung über eine als Standard definierte oder vrordnete mittlere oder maximale Höchstdosis pro Tag (3,4-DAP aufgeteilt in 3-4 Dosen pro Tag) das Verhältnis von Nutzen und unerwünschten Arzneimittelwirkungen sich verkehren könnte.
